Kristina Underwood
Team Coordinator
As a US Olympian, Kristina brings a unique background to Haystack Needle. Her work ethic, dedication, and meticulous nature stem from a lifetime of training in synchronized swimming for the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia. She thrives in a team environment, which she has found at Haystack, where she provides internal support to the Reputation and Tailfeather teams.
In her post-athletic career prior to Haystack, she gained 17 years of experience managing and coordinating teams as a former performer and captain in a top show on the Las Vegas Strip, and was the atmosphere director for an outdoor festival in the Mojave Desert called IGNITE. While she is no longer on stage, she and her husband still reside in Las Vegas, supporting their two children through their athletic endeavors.
Kristina holds a BA in Art from UNLV and certification in hospitality operations and event management from TISOH.
