Naturally, key executives asked him about how to alter search results. Haystack Reputation quickly became sought after as a discreet reputation service within top corporate executive circles. Townsend’s understanding of the ever-evolving criteria of relevancy with search engines has helped mitigate the professional and personal challenges facing dozens of CEOs, CFOs, lawyers, celebrities and private equity firms.
Townsend has led the strategy and production of creative media for 20 years, having produced hundreds of websites, presentations, events, videos, print and brand campaigns for clients including American Express, Comcast, Conde Nast, Moet Hennessy, National Geographic, New York Times, PBS, Pfizer, Reebok, Remy Cointreau, Showtime, Sony Music, Xerox, and a dozen private equity firms. Prior to that, he represented talent and developed the branding platform pitch for William Morris Agency.
He holds a BA from Skidmore College and various audio and design certifications from SVA and NYU.
